We have joined the Idaho Middle School Lacrosse Association (IMSLA) in hopes to provide a competitive opportunity for Kuna middle schoolers. This will be geared towards the more competitive players, who are looking forward to playing at the next level in high school. We will be competing against other schools such as Mountain View, Boise, Bishop Kelly, Rocky Mountain, TImberline, Eagle, and Vallivue, who all have respectable or better high school programs in the valley. For the inaugural season, we will be bringing back KHS lacrosse alumni and captain Xander Bateman to coach, along with the help of our current middle/high school coaches. Registration details to come soon.
This will be a parent-led program, and details are still being ironed out. To have a voice in this process or to get involved on the board and help out with the season, check out the meeting this week 12/1/21 (flyer below). For less competitive players still learning the basics of the game, we are recommending TVYLL (Treasure Valley Youth Lacrosse League). Reach out to kunalacrosse@gmail.com with any questions, until a board and other communications are established.
Go Kavemen!
